Arsenal is expected to pick up their pursuit of Julian Draxler in the summer.

Draxler has four years left on his current deal with Schalke, and his release clause of over £35 million would need to be met in order to acquire him, but Heldt is confident he will stay put.

General manager Horst Heldt told Sky Deutschland: "I definitely believe that he will be staying at our club for the new season.

"Julian (Draxler) is an important player in our squad, he is playing regular matches and he is doing quite well."

Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, has said that there is no chance of Toni Kroos leaving Bayern Munich in the summer.

Kroos has been connected to a transfer to Manchester United.

"Toni Kroos is sure to play in a Bayern Munich shirt next year as well," Rummenigge said.

Kroos' contract runs out in the summer of 2015.

Kroos had hinted this year that he would be keen to play in the Premier League, saying: "It is no secret that the Premier League is a possibility for me. But no one has come to any agreement with me and it will stay like this until the summer and, some time, a decision will be made. It is also no secret that the Premier League is not a bad league."

A move for Diego Costa from Atlético Madrid to Chelsea in the offseason is appearing more likely with Sky Bet removing the wager from its boards.

Sky Bet’s head of football trading Paul Wiggins said: “We’ve seen an unusually high amount of bets on Costa joining Chelsea, especially given we’re some way off the transfer window re-opening.

“We made Chelsea 5/2 favorites when we opened the market and they have been heavily backed over the weekend at odds as short as 4/7, forcing us to suspend the market.”

Costa will reportedly cost in excess of £35 million.

Manchester United is interested in a €50 million transfer for Cesc Fàbregas.

Fàbregas returned to Barcelona from Arsenal in 2011 after 212 appearances.

Fàbregas is signed with Barcelona through 2016, but would like an extension.

Chelsea has long been expected to address the striker position in the transfer market this offseason and José Mourinho confirmed it this weekend.

Mourinho praised his defense in Chelsea's 1-0 defeat to Crystal Palace while criticizing others for "disappearing."

Chelsea is expected to pursue Diego Costa.

"I don't think it's the moment to speak about next season and the market but it's clear to everybody that Chelsea next year wants to bring a striker," said Mourinho. "What's the future for the other strikers? The ones who are staying are competing with the striker we are bringing [in]. And normally, at the end of the season, players that are not playing a lot or players who are not happy may prefer a change. That is also part of the market. We want to improve the team and the players and make some surgical movements in the transfer window."

Mourinho acknowledged he must also get consistency from Eden Hazard, André Schürrle and Oscar in run-of-the-mill matches, after suggesting the defeat at Palace was an indication of a poor "mentality". "I will try to improve the players," he said. "I can't and I don't need to improve [Branislav] Ivanovic, [Gary] Cahill, John Terry. I can't improve them and I don't need to improve them but there are other guys I need to improve. I think we are doing that step-by-step. But that's not enough to be champions.

"Always, in the back of your mind, you think you might win [the league] but you have to be realistic and you have to analyze the situation and understand. How many points did Chelsea finish in the last two seasons behind the team in first? How many points? [25 and 14] That was for a reason. So this season to be where we are is an important step but, when you are there, you have in the back of your mind the little feeling that you can still do it. You think you can, you think you can, but the reality is different."

Luis Suarez is having a historic season at Liverpool and he's not currently for sale, but Brendan Rodgers believes he could fetch a transfer price similar to Cristiano Ronaldo or Gareth Bale.

Real Madrid paid £85 million for Bale last summer and Rodgers believes a Suarez transfer could have a £100 million price tag.

“He is certainly heading towards that,” said Rodgers.

“If you look at the top people in the world, the Ronaldos, the Messis, those who have been doing it for five or six years, he would be right at that level.

“Luis is certainly on his way towards that. His consistency has been phenomenal and what you see now is a more mature player.

“He is a world-class talent. Things evolve and times change. Time will tell.”

Rodgers insists Liverpool isn't considering selling.

“That is not something even to think about.”

Carlo Ancelotti is suddenly facing pressure at Real Madrid with back-to-back defeats in La Liga.

With David Moyes possibly on his way out at Manchester United, Ancelotti could be a replacement. Jurgen Klopp would be a riskier choice for United than Ancelotti.

Ancelotti could be a steward as Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes and Phil Neville gain experience as coaches.

Oscar is feeling settled at Chelsea under José Mourinho, but he has been linked to a move as the club balances its roster.

Speaking to the Daily Star Sunday, Oscar said: "José has shown me I can be one of the best. The manager has given me this confidence and I have grown better and better under him. Now I just hope I can keep on getting better and win titles with him at the end of the season.”

Oscar would like to stay at Chelsea.

"The team is top of the Premier League and the manager has his own way of playing. He alternates quite a bit because we have a lot of games. But that's normal. I'm playing well at Chelsea and am in my prime right now."

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly planning a £40 million offer to Manchester United for Adnan Januzaj.

Januzaj is a 19-year-old playmaker that has scored three goals to go with three assists in 23 appearances this season for United.

Januzaj's three goals have come as an attacking left midfielder.

Manchester United is targeting a £45 million bid for Marco Reus.

David Moyes wants to use Reus as a much needed link between midfield and attack.

Reus has scored 12 goals to go with eight assists this season for Borussia Dortmund.

Mats Hummels is another Dortmund target for United. Hummels would improve United's defense.

United hopes a combined £70 million offer for Reus and Hummels will get a deal done.
